Neglecting my Blog
Writing is tough. It’s hard enough for me to try and maintain one blog, let alone two. I’ve been focusing on my business blog at Crey Design, and even then my articles aren’t pulitzer winning. Although I do seem to have a handful of semi-loyal web design readers, so that’s always nice.
A lot has happened in the last couple months. I re-arranged my home office, so I got that going for me. My custom PC fried a while back, so I opted to get the HP Firebird. It’s worked well, though I’m not terribly impressed with Vista 64.
Let’s see. Oh, I finished off my Star Wars Animated Maquette collection when I finally got my hands on Boba Fett. I actually got it pretty cheap from ebay ($80). I haven’t been able to find one for under $200 since I started looking. I also got the elusive Leia/R2-D2 maquette, again from ebay, from a guy in Japan. I also picked up a couple other miscellaneous limited pieces and picked up a handful of 1995 series figures. It’ll be nice to actually display my collection one day, but for now I just don’t have the room.
Gaming’s been pretty thin lately. Against my better judgement, I actually started playing World of Warcraft. But as quickly as I started playing, I quit and cancelled my account. There are finally some good games coming out on the 360, so the lull in console gaming will soon go away. I picked up Ghostbusters today, and after about an hour of play, it seems like a winner.
In more upsetting news, I’m working on selling my DeLorean. I contacted the same classic car broker in Gilbert that I bought it from to see if they can help me sell it. Unfortunately it still has some minor mechanical issues that I can’t afford to get fixed, so we’ll see what arrangements I can make with the people in Gilbert.
I’m going to make more of an effort to get on a steady schedule of writing so I can keep this blog up. But when your life is as uneventful as mine, it’s a tad difficult to write about it.
